California Real Estate Continuing Education Made Simple
The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires all salespersons renewing their license for the first time to complete 45 hours of DRE-approved courses. Salespersons renewing their license beyond the first renewal are also required to complete 45 hours of continuing education for each renewal period. These must be taken as separate individual courses, not as a combined survey course, and must cover all mandatory subjects including the newly required interactive Fair Housing component and Implicit Bias Training introduced by SB 263, effective January 1, 2023.
