In this course, the student will study monetary systems, primary and secondary money markets, sources of mortgage loans, federal government programs, loan applications, processes and procedures, closing costs, alternative financial instruments, equal credit opportunity acts, community reinvestment act, and state housing agency.
Course Outline
The 30 hour Real Estate Finance course covers many key concepts in real estate transactions and lending and then examines Texas specific financing options and program information. It is presented in two distinct modules. They are;
Module #1: General Real Estate Finance
Module #2: Texas Specific Finance
The course includes all key industry terminology and information on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Disclosure rules. Students can expect numerous exercises, quizzes, case studies and the course will be completed with a cumulative final exam. All elements presented in the course are required for course completion.
