To obtain the GRI designation in South Dakota you must take the following steps:
- Be a REALTOR® in good standing. REALTORS® are members of the National Association of REALTORS®
- Complete all of the courses in the GRI Program
- You may complete the courses in any order you wish. When you complete all of the courses in the program, you will need to submit a "Designation Application" to SDAR.
The Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation (GRI) is designed primarily for agents whose main business activity is residential real estate. The course of study helps members increase their knowledge and skills in a broad array of technical subjects and the fundamentals of real estate. The program also provides opportunities to develop important business contacts.
