Keep in mind that this course is an abridged version of the Nebraska Real Estate Commission’s required coursework. Students who take this course have either been licensed in another state or have taken a different school’s package and have not passed the state exam.

In order to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Nebraska, you must first complete 66 credit hours of courses approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission. VanEd's Salesperson Licensing Package fulfills these educational requirements.

In order to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Nebraska, you must first complete 66 credit hours of courses approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission.  New Salesperson licensees in the state of Nebraska must then complete the 12 credit hour NE 7000 course within 180 days of licensure .

This package combines both the required pre-licensing education AND the NE 7000 post-licensing course at a discounted price.

This Program is Offered by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission and delivered by approved education providers. This course is approved for 6 hours of Qualifying Education Credit as required.

As a requirement of the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, throughout this course, learners will be expected to interact with ethics and professional conduct issues which will help the new licensee gain competency in handling real estate transactions.

Participants are encouraged to be actively involved in the case studies, as well as in the discussion items, in order to derive the best possible outcomes from the training.

Neb. Rev. Stat. 81-885.13 (9) - All licensees shall, within one hundred eighty days after license issuance, furnish satisfactory evidence of completion of twelve hours of class study.

This post-license education program meets the requirements set forth in statute. Students are encouraged to complete this course of study early in the required timeline so that they may remain on active status. Licensees who do not complete this program on time will be placed on inactive status.

Welcome to Real Estate Investments!

When the word “investment” is used in connection with real estate, we tend to think of commercial or rental real estate, perhaps vacant or partially developed ground to be built upon, a foreclosed home to be remodeled and sold, and so on. However, in one fashion or another, any money used for almost any purpose related to real estate is an “investment”. The funds spent to paint a home, replace a roof or furnace, pay real estate taxes, remodel . . . the list is endless. Whether the property is generating income or not, the owner is still making an investment in the property to preserve it, maintain it, improve it, make it a more pleasant or convenient place to live, make it more appealing to a potential buyer or just to increase the owner’s pleasure in living there. The “return” on that investment may be economic or may be measurable in less tangible benefits such as contentment, the pride of ownership or a sanctuary at the end of the day; regardless of the nature of the return, there has been an investment and there will be a return on that investment, hopefully, a positive one.

In this course learners will be exposed to the basics of investment real estate. While the focus will be on the income- producing real estate, the learner will also discover various aspects of the economics of residential investment.
