Renew Your Oklahoma Real Estate License Online

The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission requires all licensees to have completed 21 hours of real estate continuing education within the 3-year licensing period.

Sales Associate (SA) or Broker Associate (BA) Continuing Education Requirements

Associate licenses must take 6 required subjects, of at least 1 clock hour in length in: Broker Relationships (BRA), Contracts & Forms (CON), Professional Conduct (PSC), Fair Housing (FHR), Code & Rules (CAR), and Hot Topics (HOT)) and 15 clock hours may be in elective credit as approved by the Commission.

Broker Manager (BM), Proprietor Broker (BP) OR Branch Broker (BB) Continuing Education Requirements

These broker types must take a 15 clock hour Broker in Charge (BIC) course and two (2) of the six (6) required subject matter courses, of at least 1 clock hour in length in: Broker Relationships (BRA), Contracts (CON), Professional Conduct (PSC), Fair Housing (FHR), Code & Rules (CAR), and Hot Topics (HOT).

Nonresident Licensees

Real estate continuing education (CE) hours taken in another jurisdiction will be accepted with the exception of 3 clock hours. The 3 clock hours must be taken on Oklahoma specific real estate continuing education courses in the subjects of: Broker Relationships (BRA), Contracts (CON) and Code and Rules (CAR). Full Oklahoma License Renewal Details

As of June 1, 2025, the Oklahoma CE requirements will be as follows:

SALESPERSON:

TOTAL CE HOURS NEEDED: 30 hours every three (3) years

Required Coursework:

  • One (1) hour in each of the following:
  • Broker Relationship Act
  • Code and Rules
  • Fair Housing
  • Hot Topic
  • Three (3) hours in Professional Conduct (Code of Ethics)
  • Six (6) hours in Contracts and Forms
  • All remaining seventeen (17) hours may be completed in elective or required categories

BROKER IN CHARGE:

TOTAL CE HOURS NEEDED: 30 hours every three (3) years

Required Coursework:

  • Fifteen (15) hour Broker in Charge course
  • Six (6) hours in Contract Forms
  • All remaining nine (9) hours may be completed in elective or required categories.

NON-RESIDENT:

TOTAL CE HOURS NEEDED: 8 hours every three (3) years
