Florida REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within a two-year cycle. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
The current two-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2018.
Training may be completed through local Florida REALTOR® associations or through another method, such as home study, correspondence, classroom courses, or online courses.
VanEd offers Florida real estate ethics courses that meets the NAR requirements for Ethics Renewal and New Member Orientation, to help you satisfy the Ethics Renewal requirements for REALTOR® members.
Note that all of our courses meet the Florida Real Estate Ethics Renewal requirements. Beginning with the 2017 Ethics Renewal Cycle, NAR requires all REALTOR® members to complete an ethics training course every two calendar years. Check with your local board or association if you have questions regarding new member requirements if you are joining a Florida REALTOR® association or board as a new or transferring member.
This Florida continuing education license renewal package covers 15 hours of approved content and includes the 3-hour Core Law course covering Commercial Real Estate Issues, a Fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate course, and the 4 hour Ethics for REALTORS course.

Covers the interpretation and application of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. This is the only required course in the GRI program, and many local associations require this course as a condition of membership (check with local board for specific requirements)

The 4-hr Mandatory Ethics Course - this review Ethics course is one of the courses used to meet the Quadrennial Ethics requirement for REALTORS®. It is not required by the Real Estate Commission, however this course may be taken each year for CE Credit.
