Over the 2 year license renewal cycle, Pennsylvania appraisers must satisfy the following continuing education credits for a total of 28 hours:
- 7 hour USPAP Update course
- 2 hours of PA Real Estate Laws, regulations and policies
- 19 hours of elective continuing education
Pennsylvania appraisal licenses must be renewed by 6/30 in the year of your license cycle.

7-Hour National USPAP Update Course
This course is designed to fulfill the requirements for Pennsylvania licensed and certified appraisers who must complete a 7-hour USPAP Update Course every two years.
The course will present and explain the changes to USPAP and the rationale expressed by the ASB (Appraisal Standards Board) for the most recent round of revisions. Students will gain understanding regarding why, when and how changes are made to USPAP. This course provides practitioners with a step-by-step, bulletproof methodology for appraising energy efficient homes, including proprietary forms and terminology that can be integrated into Pennsylvania appraisal reports.
We share valuable phrases that will help clearly identify the limitations of the appraiser’s observations; reduce liability for all parties, while providing the tools to accurately value energy-efficient homes.
