To get a real estate license in Texas, you must first complete six online courses: Principles of Real Estate I, Principles of Real Estate II, Law of Agency, Law of Contracts, Real Estate Finance, and Promulgated Contract Forms – for a total of 180 credit hours.

This 30 hour course forms part of the mandatory education towards licensure as a real estate sales agent in Texas, as required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). As one of the mandatory pre-licensing courses, this introductory course provides students with an extensive foundational understanding of real estate terminology and professional obligations. This course includes all required elements as well as providing practical applications of each, which puts much of this introductory information into real-world application. Principles is designed to ensure that each student has a full understanding of the terms covered on the national portions of the Texas Real Estate Sales Agent Exam.
This 30 hour course forms part of the mandatory education towards licensure as a real estate salesperson in Texas, as required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). This course begins with a discussion of real estate mathematics, including prorations, property tax and insurance premiums. The course engages the students on topics of financing and appraisal before introducing the students to investments, leases, property management and title transfer. A detailed examination of land use and specializations is also included. The course concludes with an explanation of closing procedures in a real estate transaction.
This required CORE course covers all aspects of Real Estate Finance, including The Monetary System, Sources of Money, the Lending Process and Insurance. Students can also expect to examine the most current Legislation and Rules governing Real Estate Finance.
