This 30 hour course forms part of the mandatory education towards licensure as a real estate salesperson in Texas, as required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). This course begins with a discussion of real estate mathematics, including prorations, property tax and insurance premiums. The course engages the students on topics of financing and appraisal before introducing the students to investments, leases, property management and title transfer. A detailed examination of land use and specializations is also included. The course concludes with an explanation of closing procedures in a real estate transaction.
