The Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation is designed primarily for agents whose main business activity is residential real estate. The course of study helps members increase their knowledge and skills in a broad array of technical subjects and the fundamentals of real estate. The program also provides opportunities to develop important business contacts.
For Wyoming Realtors interested in completing the coursework to achieve the GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) designation, the Nebraska REALTOR® Association (NRA) in conjunction with Van Education Center has established a process to achieve the GRI designation online.
To get the Wyoming GRI designation, you must be a REALTOR® and take the following steps:
Complete the Required Coursework
Wyoming registered REALTORS® will be able to complete the 6 course GRI track (90 hours) that the NRA has approved for GRI credit. (This coursework is also eligible for continuing education (CE) credit in Colorado.)
Become a Member of NAR
In order to receive the GRI designation, which will be issued by the Nebraska REALTOR® Association, Wyoming REALTORS® will need to apply and pay $150 to become a secondary member of the Nebraska REALTOR® Association. (Once the designation is earned however, continued membership in the Nebraska REALTOR® Association will not be required.)
All coursework remains self-paced and accessible anytime online. All 90 hours toward the GRI designation must be completed within 5 years.
