Free 6-Hour Designated Subject Matter "R" CE Course
This 6-Hour Nebraska Real Estate Continuing Education Course introduces the student to many environmental hazards and detrimental environmental conditions that affect individual sites and building and meets the Nebraska Real Estate Commission's requirements for 6 hours of Designated Subject Matter 'R' Credit.
This course begins with an overview of global environmental problems. These include global warming, destruction of rain forests, and the depletion of the ozone layer. How the government is attempting to solve our national and community environment is covered by a section on federal and state environmental laws and agencies. Important court cases add to this information.
The student is also introduced to the many environmental hazards and detrimental environmental conditions that affect individual sites and building. They are shown how it is possible for a real estate professional to screen a property for apparent environmental hazards without extensive additional training.
Students must complete 16 Credit Hours of Continuing Education. 6 Hours Must Be in Designated Subject Matter 'R' Courses while 12 Hours Must Be Elective Credits.
ALL LICENSEES must review their Errors and Omissions Insurance. If your insurance expired on January 1, 2021, you must renew it before renewing your license.
Active real estate licensees must renew their license online through the Nebraska Real Estate Commission. Additionally, licensees must pay a renewal fee of $30.00.
