Course Description:

The purpose of this course is to provide a solid foundation for understanding the public sector transportation planning process, with an emphasis on how transportation planning, funding, and programming decisions impact the land development process and vice-versa.

By the end of this course, you should be able to understand how transportation planning and decision-making are conducted, how projects evolve from planning to construction, and how the transportation planning and land development processes continuously shape and impact each other.

You should also understand some of the leading-edge transportation issues and opportunities that will affect transportation and land use decision-making in the future.
