This 6-Hour course is prepared to be used to complete the continuing education requirements for Community Association Managers (CAM) as well as offering continuing education credit for real estate brokers in Colorado.
Students seeking to renew a CAM license must complete 8 hours of continuing education coursework each year in order to meet the renewal eligibility requirements. Real Estate Brokers must complete 24 hours of continuing education every three years.
Students will be introduced to the key legal issues owners' associations face as well as recent legislative activities affecting housing in real estate. Included in the course is a series of case studies which have affected some associations. This course will also cover issues related to uncommon but important legal rulings that could impact the operation or management of a community association.
