VanEd rates each of its real estate continuing education courses based on course difficulty. We believe this helps students understand what to expect from a course, how challenging it will be, and whether it suits their preferences and current knowledge of real estate topics.
Basic
Basic level courses are general in nature and appropriate for all licensees. Whether you are a brand new agent or a seasoned broker, these courses require no specialized knowledge or experience.
Intermediate
Intermediate courses are appropriate for agents with some experience, and may be challenging for newer licensees. They contain more information on specific areas of practice such as investments or commercial real estate.
Advanced
Advanced courses are great for seasoned professionals who want to sharpen their skills by taking a deeper dive into topics such as 1031 exchanges and yield capitalization. They may require the student to complete complex mathematical exercises as well, such as discounting with reversion.
