Georgia Real Estate Licensing

In order to become a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia, you must first complete a pre- licensing course approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

Georgia real estate licensing requirements

Sales License

Be at least 18 years old
Complete a 75 hour, state approved prelicense course.
Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 75% required to pass).
Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass).

Sales Post License

Complete a 25 hour, state approved post license course within 1 year of receiving license.
Pass a final exam (grade of 75% required to pass).

Broker License

Be at least 21 years old
Be an active agent for 3 years
Complete a 60 hour, state approved prelicense course.
Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 75% required to pass).
Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass).
