Student Feedback
"I passed both sections of the real estate exam on Saturday. I was thrilled that I did it on my first try! I had originally signed up for another school’s correspondence class and never completed it. In comparison, the information you provide is much more thorough and better matches the actual test." - Dianne B.

Prospects for Real Estate Careers are finally looking up starting in 2012!
If you’ve been thinking on a career in real estate, NOW’S THE TIME! With the current real estate market showing sure signs of improvement, there couldn’t be a better time to jump into the industry and catch it on the upswing:
  • INMAN News reports housing starts for home construction jump nearly 30% this year; and “The West saw the biggest jump in single-family starts in May (37 percent)”.
  • Housing stats from the National Association of REALTORS® cite an increase in home sales & prices, all signs that the recovery is underway.
  • A video from NAR’s chief economist notes the figures: the median price for existing home sales in the West was $221,700, a surge of 15.9 % from a year ago--7.3 % above April 2011!

Where do I get a job after I complete my real estate training?
There are many opportunities open to you once you are licensed. A real estate license will be required to sell residential, commercial and industrial property. In some cases, property managers are also required to be licensed. Graduates will find that there are any number of companies and areas of expertise that await them.

How much can I expect to make as a real estate agent?
In the real estate industry one thing is true; the better you are the more the public will seek out your services. New agents can expect a period of low income from their activities as they get a foothold in the industry. For agents who hold at least one designation (post-license education provided typically by professional real estate organizations) the income is increased by an average of more than $20,000 per year.
