Colorado Real Estate MRE Courses

The Master of Real Estate designation is designed to provide advanced training beyond other designation programs. REALTORS® will benefit from the up-to-date information and will advance their competitive edge by earning the MRE designation.

VanEd is proud to be the online services provider for this advanced program through the MRE National Education Work Group. The program is flexible by design, allowing for the student to complete the program within 5 years. Designed as a blended learning approach, students are allowed to complete courses either online or in the classroom. Some courses are approved for Continuing Education credit in various states.

MRE Designation Requirements
1. Active membership in the National, State or Local Association of REALTORS®

2. Have earned a premium designation, such as the GRI, CRS, CCIM or the CRB designations.

3. Submit the MRE Candidacy Application and the $100 candidacy fee. CLICK HERE to login to the MRE Candidate page.

4. Complete 90 hours of approved courses. Courses are approved by the MRE National Education Work Group.

Transportation Planning (PIC) Integrating transportation with land use planning
This course traces the history of transportation planning from pre-WWII to the present day, including the roles of the various levels of government involved in the transportation planning process from concept to completion. The course also explains travel-demand forecasting, trip generation and distribution, the split between different modes of travel, Level of Service and street capacity, and the transportation planner’s methods of determining road requirements. Current issues in transportation are highlighted, including how the principles of New Urbanism and “complete” street designs (where different modes of travel share the same street) affect urban form.
