In Washington state, an actively licensed salesperson or broker is required to complete 30 hours of approved real estate education to renew the license (license renewal periods run in 2 year cycles). If you are a salesperson actively renewing for the first time, you must also complete a 30-hour course in real estate practices, for a total of 60 hours. An actively licensed broker is required to complete 30 hours of approved real estate education to renew the license) Brokers and salespersons must include 3 hours of prescribed core curriculum (practical information on contemporary issues relating to the practice of real estate and approved by the Division of Real Estate) in the 30 hours required for the renewal of your active license. VanEd offers CE and GRI courses to help licensees in Washington complete their mandatory education. |
