VanEd is currently offers several appraisal continuing education courses including USPAP 7-hour, URAR and Environmental Hazards, with additional continuing education courses coming soon.

All appraisal CE courses are offered entirely online, and can be completed from the comfort of your home or office. Instructors are available Monday - Friday by phone or email to assist with questions for any of the courses. A certificate of completion is available online as soon as you finish each course.

All VanEd Appraisal CE courses are IDECC and AQB approved.

2008-2009 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) - 7 hrs

This course was created by the The Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation and is required of all licensed and certified appraisers once every two years.
An Appraisal Foundation national standard, applicable in all states.
Includes 350 page spiral bound textbook.

URAR Course

This course trains appraisers who are already familiar with the generally-accepted principles of real estate appraising to make an appraisal of a single-family residence on the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report Form (URAR). Students will become familiar with the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and USPAP guidelines that apply to the URAR.

Residential Environmental Hazards Screening

The student is introduced to the many environmental hazards and detrimental environmental conditions that affect individual sites and building. They are shown how it is possible for an appraisal professional to screen a property for apparent environmental hazards without extensive additional training.
