The Basic Real Estate Appraisal Principles Course is a 30-hour introductory appraisal course that meets the standards set forth by The Appraisal Foundation’s required core curriculum. AQB CAP Approved

This course focuses on the requirements for ethical behavior and competent performance by appraisers that are set forth in the USPAP. Course material emphasizes the role of the appraiser and the impartiality associated with this role. This course is designed to aid appraisers seeking competency in USPAP, in all areas of appraisal practice including those subject to state licensing or certification and continuing education requirements imposed by professional organizations, client groups, or employers.

This course reviews all the material, including the updated USPAP standard, that an appraisal student needs to pass both the Trainee & Licensed Appraiser qualifying exams. Includes over 300 pages of review material, 1500 practice exam questions, a 1500 term glossary, and a testing system that tells you exactly what topics you need to review the most.

This four course package includes everything you need to upgrade from the Registered level to Licensed level. Courses: Residential Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach | Residential Market Analysis and Highest & Best Use | Residential Report Writing and Case Studies | Residential Sales Comparison and Income Approaches. The Report Writing and Site Valuation Courses are offered directly through VanEd, while the Market Analysis and Sales Comparison courses are offered through a partner school.

This course provides an in depth look at the Sales Comparison and residential Income Approaches to value.This is an upper level course that expands on the concepts learned in the Principles and Practices courses.

The Residential Market Analysis and Highest and Best Use qualifying education course of instruction will acquaint the student with the basics of analysis. The student will learn some of the methodology and techniques used by appraisers to extract information from the marketplace.

This course is structured to conform to the 2008 Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of the Appraisal Foundation. This course is part of the Required Core Curriculum. There is a required two-hour proctored exam at the end that must be taken in a monitored setting.
