This course provides an overview of the valuation process as a basis for understanding the site valuation and cost approach methodology. AQB CAP Approved

The Residential Market Analysis and Highest and Best Use qualifying education course of instruction will acquaint the student with the basics of analysis. The student will learn some of the methodology and techniques used by appraisers to extract information from the marketplace.

This course is structured to conform to the 2008 Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria established by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of the Appraisal Foundation. This course is part of the Required Core Curriculum. There is a required two-hour proctored exam at the end that must be taken in a monitored setting.
