Colorado REALTORS® for Education - Grant Application

General Guidelines:
Grants are intended to assist teachers, schools, school districts and non-profits in Colorado. A grant provides REALTORS® an opportunity to support teachers, schools, school districts, and non-profits and enhances the learning experience for students by providing classroom supplies, materials, equipment and other resources. A recipient, who receives a grant for 2008, must use the funds to purchase resources for the class in accordance with the Grant Application, no later than 12 months from the date of the grant check.

Grants shall be considered and may be awarded in the following tiers:

  • Tier One: Pre-kindergarten through 5th Grade
  • Tier Two: 6th Grade through 8th Grade
  • Tier Three: 9th Grade through 12th Grade
Application:
Applications must be completed online between June 15th, 2009 and August 1st, 2009. ("Open Application Period".) The online application is below. Submission of confirmation page must be received prior to August 10th, 2009 in order for grant application to be considered. Announcement of grant recipients will be made within sixty (60) days after Open Application Period ends. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

This confirmation document must be returned via fax or mail prior to the end of the application period in order for application to be accepted and considered. Please notify your School Principal / CEO of this requirement.

Application Notes:
  • Grant recipient(s) will be notified within sixty (60) days after the close of the Open Application Period.

  • After supplies, materials, equipment and other resources are purchased and used (but no later than 12 months from the date of the grant check); recipient will submit all receipts of expenditures to the Board of Colorado REALTORS® for Education. Recipient will provide a report and photographs to be shared with the Board of Directors of the Colorado REALTORS® for Education and the Public Relations Committee of the Colorado Association of REALOTRS®.

  • Recipient may also be invited to meetings of the Colorado REALTORS® for Education and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® to explain how the grant was used.

  • Grants shall be awarded at the sole discretion of the Board of Trustees of the Colorado REALTORS® for Education Grant Program and conditions and limitations may be imposed. If in the judgment of the Trustees there are no suitable applicants, grants may be withheld.

  • No applicant, application or grant shall be made, denied or considered on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, familial status, or handicap.
